Get to Know Lauren

While Lauren is a highly trained graphic artist and illustrator, it’s her amazing eye for detail and commitment to perfection that sets her apart. As Creative Director, her role in design and production at Galaxy Design Squad makes excellent use of her natural talents and ideals. In addition to supporting the creative process, she enjoys sharing her time with valued customers and making the ordering process as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Lauren is a graduate of Florida’s Palm Beach Atlantic University. She majored in Fine Arts with a minor in Religious Studies, which bolstered her love of learning about cultures worldwide. One of her favorite inspirational quotes is that of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” She is dedicated to customer satisfaction, producing quality artwork, and maintaining high ethical standards. She fulfills this motivation every day by bringing a little sunshine to the world through products with purpose.

Get to Know Derrick

Derrick has an innate passion for art, design and innovation. He loves the challenge of drawing from imagination to help others achieve their dreams. Combining this natural talent with the intuitive understanding of personal and commercial design is why  Derrick is the perfect fit for Art Director at Galaxy Design Squad. Recognizing what makes a product engaging requires a particular skill and a meticulous mindset. At the same time, developing production-ready designs is an art form in and of itself that Derrick can tackle with ease. 

 Derrick is the son of an Army Chaplain, so the associated worldwide travel has made him comfortable communicating effectively with the company’s overseas connections about developing quality products with fair compensation and pricing practices. In addition, his passion for artistic expression guided him to Florida’s Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he majored in Graphic Design and, the best extracurricular of all, meeting his wife, Lauren.
